National University Cohort 51

Also just applied to cohort 51! I have a low-ish GPA like 3.2 or 3.3 but a 95% on TEAS. I thought the essay wasn't too difficult but I'm not sure how tough they are on the grading. Anyone know what a competitive total score is?

Hi , I attended te forum long time ago and I think it was 83-84 for previous cohorts . Your Teas is amazing and I don't think you have any reason to worry . Good luck to you .

Hello everyone and good luck to everyone here!!! I also applied to NU cohort 51. Erica said we might get the essay score by the end of March, and my advisor told me that by mid-May is when we know if we getting the program or not... soooo couple months of agony. I think for me my essay score is what will determine if I get in or not. I have a 3.25 gpa (very low I know!) my TEAS score is 84.7%. I'm not the best writer, but I felt confident on the structure and content of my essay so hope I get a 4. If I get a 4 I think I will be at the borderline :nailbiting: with maybe 82-83 points.

Maybe I should begin NU cohort 52 page.

But I remain optimistic and hopeful for cohort 51!!

eli-lass sign me up on that cohort 52 page. i'm on the same page as you! my essay will be my hope. My GPA is on 3.5 but i scored 81.5 on the teas im very boderline. Im planning to just retake the teas and score higher so I'll have a better balance. :/

I am glad the TEAS and essay are done and over with. I received an 84% on my TEAS and not so great GPA, so I think this will depend on how well I did on the essay. Time cannot come fast enough to find out what we received on our essays and if we got in!!!

Hey are you sure about Mid May because I'm sure that they said we will have news before next cohort application deadline which is April 14 . I was told that we will hear first week of April ???

I know the day of the TEAS test/ essay day Erica, the proctor, said the results were going to be up by end of March, early April right!?. But then i contacted my advisor and she said that May is when we know if we got in or not.... IDK I'm confused now

I think before April 14 so we get the chance to apply for next one . Would not make sense if is mid May . I hope that the advisor is mistaken .

I spoke with the Nursing Department today and they said the deadline for professors to finish grading essays is March 31st and that we should know if we got in or not by the 1st week of April

I got a 90 on the TEAS and a 3.94 gpa
