:nurse:Anyone out there applied to NU nursing program San Diego cohort 51 ?

Yes same thing .

You scored very good on Teas and your GPA is great . I feel like my essay will determine my future . I also feel confident about essay . I guess we just have to wait and see . It looks like every cohort gets more competitive .

So they calculate A&P 1 , A& P 2 , Microbioogy and Statistiscs right ????

i got 81.5%. But my GPA is not that great. :/

Hello Guys I attended the forum and im pretty sure you guys did as well, but I took a picture of the slides on my phone since I did mines online. heres an example that they have when I attended the pre nursing forum.

Student A

GPA: 30/30 = 1 *40% = 40 Points

Proctored Essay: 5/5 = 1* 20% = 20 Points

TEAS: 90* 40% = 36.0 points

TOTAL ADMISSION POINTS: 96 Points

If you guys want me to email the picture of the slides I got please leave your email address. I am so anxious :/

Ok thanks for the post . I think with both methods of calculating you get the same points .

Hi Amauler,

How did you find out about your GPA? Is this the GPA for just the pre-requisites or is it for the last 60 units? Also, do you know how the points are being calculated. I would appreciate any information. Thank you.

They said just the science classes (AP1, AP2, Microbiology) and if I'm not mistaken the Bio-Medical Statistics.

Thank you for this post. This is very helpful. I am confused on the GPA section. Where does the 30/30 came from and how is that calculate? I thought it is calculated as; Your GPA/4 x 30. I took the orientation from last year so this must be a new point system they now have.

X 40 because it is 40% of your total points

mdm,

I honestly am confused with that myself. I just copied that example from the pre-nursing forum slides when I attended last January online. :/

Hi everyone! I've also applied to cohort 51. I took my TEAS and essay last week and crossing my fingers I did well enough.
