National University - Cohort 61 -SD

I wanted to start this for those who are applying to Cohort 61. Has anyone been to a recent nursing info session where they've gone over anything about the newly added interview component?

Yess I’ve been checking soar nonstop since I submitted my application & this is the first time it changed

Mine is saying the same thing, it's letting me apply for other cohorts.

Mines too. I’m also seeing that the deadline for generic entry was on the 19th and deadline for second bachelors was yesterday. I think the deadlines are both close that’s why we see the the apply tabs. That’s my guess.

Also I don’t think they choose a specific amount for generic entry and post bachelors. I think it’s combined.

I called the nursing department throughout the day. No answer. I called my advisor and no help at all. They won’t be back in until Monday. Very frustrating. The person I spoke to once they transferred me was like, wow I can’t believe they moved the date without informing people.

Unprofessional in my opinion.

And his name wasn’t Kyle, it’s Rob*** I misspoke on that.

So I guess we won’t find out anything until sometimes next week. Hopefully no longer than that.

It is very frustrating. Especially because it’s the second time they moved the deadline! Remember it was supposed to be July 19th? Yeah it gave us more time to take the TEAS again but jeez I just want this stressful waiting period to stop dragging on

Oh wow I didn’t even know it was moved from from July 19th. I always thought it was August.

Did they informed people at that time?

Yeah at the forum they said when they decided to implement interviews instead of essays they decided to change the deadline. I have no idea why the deadline date needed to change but they chose to push it back a month.

So.... I spoke with the nursing department today and according to them we SHOULD be hearing BY Monday.
