National University - Cohort 61 -SD

I wanted to start this for those who are applying to Cohort 61. Has anyone been to a recent nursing info session where they've gone over anything about the newly added interview component?

Yes, I agree! I’ve read the other ones too. It could also be that maybe other applicants aren’t as snoopy as us ?

I’ve researched every single cohorts and read every single comments!! Lol

Hey guys, been lurking for months. I applied for this deadline too but I was pretty let down with my TEAS score (82.7) so I sadly expect to be denied... my GPA is a 3.75 so I’m not giving up hope just yet... I agree, this is a smaller forum than the past... fingers crossed we get that interview email!

I think regardless any scores above the 80s is pretty awesome. The teas is not an easy test. It’s just that with national people are becoming so much more competitive! I think it has a lot to do with amount of times we can take the teas. This is why it’s getting harder and harder to get in. Regardless we all made it this far so kudos to everyone!

I just went into the application and the close date said 8/22. That was yesterday. I thought the close date was 8/16. So I'm wondering if it did close yesterday, if there will in fact be a delay now in hearing about the interview.

So I went to check... they did move it! the generic entry was pushed from 8/16 to 8/19 and the post bachelor's accelerated was moved to 8/22...

That’s kind of irritating that National didn’t inform us of the change in the cut off.

It's super irritating because I based my TEAS appointment around that... I could have had an entire extra weekend to prepare... How would anyone have even known it moved unless they knew the 8/16 date and already submitted...

The past couple of cohorts they’ve done the same thing changed the deadline, last cohort they said that they changed it becoz people were having trouble with the application, I’m not sure about the reason for the previous one. I just emailed them right now and ask if everything will be pushed back due to the change.

I’m just wondering why they pushed back the due date? So does that mean we’re waiting another week to know if we got denied or got an interview?

In theory since they moved it from friday to monday, we should find out monday.. but someone else in the thread said that they emailed them and that it would be 2-3 weeks so we have no clue
