National University - Cohort 61 -SD

Hi,

I wanted to start this for those who are applying to Cohort 61. Has anyone been to a recent nursing info session where they've gone over anything about the newly added interview component?

Yep that’s extremely expensive! I have 2 friends that’s starting October cohort and that’s just a bit ridiculous! And I think it comes out of pocket which financial aide does not cover.

So the previous orientation fee of about $2500 now went up to $6,414? WOA! that is a huge jump! When does that begin? Did it already apply to cohort 60, or will it begin with cohort 61?

That information was sent to cohort 60 so I assume it started with them. And that’s pretty crazy, honestly I don’t know how I’m going to give 6,500 out of pocket ?

Which she was pretty surprised about bcoz they just found out yesterday and they start on October.

Which I think it’s good for us to all know bcoz it gives us time to prepare and to decide if we’re all willing to pay the price.

a few months ago a financial aid advisor provided me with this sheet for breakdown of cost but I guess it no longer applies, I emailed financial aid to see if they have an updated form , does anyone have the updated version of these fees? or know where we can get it?

I’m thinking is that 6500 for orientation plus the first class ? Or just orientation? The guy at the interviews yesterday mentioned that it’s about $54k for the nursing program..... I’m hoping that’s 54k-6k ?
