National University Cohort 67 San Diego

Published

Hello Pre-Nursing Students!

Despite Cohort 67 being quite a bit away, I figure I start up a thread early for those of us that are eager.

I plan on applying for the May 2021 deadline. I just knocked out BST 322 and am taking ILR 260 with NU this next coming month!

I just took the TEAS and came out with a 85.3!

Please feel free to share your stats: GPA, TEAS, work experience, second degree (if any).

For those of us who already made it through and ended up on this thread, any insight would be awesome on what to expect!

Hi everyone, I saw that one person used straighterline to retake classes to raise their GPA and I’m thinking about doing the same.

Has anyone else tried this route, and if so, did National accept it/did it work out for you?

Thank you ?

I took A& P 2 and Micro micro through straighterline. I studied like crazy, using outside resources like my lectures from national. I took two classes at once, devoted all my time to them to refresh and retake. I went from B- in both and got A's with the proctored exam. It was SO hard, but I went from a 3.1 to a 3.67 GPA and got accepted on the first try to cohort 67. If I hadn't taken those two, I would not have qualified for even the interview. It's cheaper, at your pace and tbh more informative and in depth than NU classes. I recommend if you don't have time and if you don't want to pay to retake a class for 1600$+, then that route is for you!

Good luck!♥️ you got it!

How long is A&P through straighterline, and can I just take the lab portion for both units?

Great job! What your TEAS score if you don't mind me asking? So they corrected my GPA to 3.4 and my TEAS is 94.7. I'm planning to retake A&P2 so I can have 3.6 GPA and then apply for cohort 68

90 TEAS.

definitely retake if you can. Straighterline is self paced. You go through each chapter, take an exam on it and move onto the next. I believe there are about 13 in total. Then you schedule a proctored final exam. So they monitor you like the TEAS. The exams are HARD. Like harder than the university ones. I felt like I was learning all over again. But if you want it bad enough you'll nail it.

Hi Guys.

Congratulations to the people who got in.

Unfortunately even if I got 4.0 GPA maybe my TEAS is low for 82.7.I got denied. Can you guys share your scores so I know what should be my goal for my next application.I retake my TEAS yesterday and got 86.7 this time but planning to retake one more time.

I was under the impression that I had 3.5 GPA but it turned out that I have 3.4 GPA. My TEAS is 94.7

I'm going to retake A&P 2 with straighterline, so I will have 3.6 and reapply for cohort 68.

I thought my TEAS score would balance out, but it didn't.

Good Luck to both of us.what study guide did you use for your TEAS?
