Hello Pre-Nursing Students!
Despite Cohort 67 being quite a bit away, I figure I start up a thread early for those of us that are eager.
I plan on applying for the May 2021 deadline. I just knocked out BST 322 and am taking ILR 260 with NU this next coming month!
I just took the TEAS and came out with a 85.3!
Please feel free to share your stats: GPA, TEAS, work experience, second degree (if any).
For those of us who already made it through and ended up on this thread, any insight would be awesome on what to expect!

Congratulations to all that got in! I wanted to know if the people that got in can share their stats. We are in Fresno cohort still waiting on our results! Also did anyone inquire their points out of 100. It would help a lot and give us an idea too!
Thanks
I got in with a 4.0 and 86 TEAS.
I tried asking to see if I could know my interview score and I was told they are confidential. Wish I could know what I got though!
For those who are waiting to hear or may need to reapply, I wanted to share my advice.
This is my 3rd try. I was flat out Rejected from CSUSM, and waitlisted at UCI. I haven’t tried the RN programs at Mira Costa, Grossmont, etc.
My resume was unusual. So after my first rejection (and Covid) I opted to get my Phlebotomy license. However, I will say that it was my volunteer hours with Red Cross, and other non profits that I think was what made the difference this time. Find opportunities to get experience and/or credentials. It was helpful not only for my resume/interview, but also underscored My desire to do what I can or could in spite of COVID, my stats, and previous rejections.
demonstrate your tenacity!
“the difference between ‘try’ and ‘triumph’ is just a little umph!” National is one of the only programs that has a holistic approach to their candidate search. It’s not just numbers... it’s also your dedication! ??

Thank you so much for sharing all of this information. Since you know about national system and points. How are they counting biomedical statistics. I transferred all my prerequisites from community Colleges, but they are counting biomedical statistics as a semester units, when it's supposed to be quarter units.
My GPA is 3.5 and 94.7 TEAS and I got rejected. Do you think I should repeat A&P at national ? Or retake the TEAS?
I do have a lot of volunteer experience, including elderly care. I'm just lost on what to do.

Did you ask them what your score was for your interview?
How did you feel after your interview?
I asked them and they said it's confidential.
I don't think I did so good on the interview. I emailed the nursing department and they said your GPA is low. It's 3.4.
I asked them how is it 3.4. I am getting 3.5
I have an A in Microbiology
An in biomedical statistics.
A B in anatomy
A B in physiology
I'm lost

I have an A in BST 322.

I took anatomy and lab in one class, and physiology and Lab in one class. I have B in both.

it all varies depending on what type of B it was.
Did you get a B, B minus or B plus
For community colleges that I took them at, don't have plus and minus, so they're just a solid B.

Hi! Is there anybody that is still waiting for an acceptance or denial letter? Or already an alternate?
