I am making this thread for anyone who is applying for NU's cohort 81. The application deadline for this cohort is on November 8, 2024. This is my second time applying for the program after getting denied from the last cohort due to my TEAS score. My stats are 3.73 GPA and 94 on the TEAS which I retook the other day. I also have 3 years of healthcare experience working mainly in behavioral health.
I was asked 5 questions 1 is like a follow up question but I can't remember it's about my previous job since I don't have any experience in healthcare. I'm still keeping positive. I forgot her name, she's an African American professor. Very well spoken, I asked her a couple of questions, my interview was less than 15 mins around 12 mins.

Normal questions but then a question about an experience where I did everything right but the outcome was negative and what I learned. I had a kinda traumatic situation at one of the jobs I had and it brought up repressed emotions. It was not what one typically experiences on a day to day basis.
Just had my interview with the dean and it went really great. Shes very nice and understanding on how we are very stressed and made the interview a conversation, so be yourself don't read from a script. The questions she asked me , nursing school is very difficult how will u prep for it, and how they reccomend that you shouldnt work while in school, another question diversity in the nursing field how its important, and scenerio if you had a pateint who was angry or threw up on u how u handle it, and lastly question on a conflict as a nurse how u will handle a disagreement between you and a coworker or nurse student.
