I am making this thread for anyone who is applying for NU's cohort 81. The application deadline for this cohort is on November 8, 2024. This is my second time applying for the program after getting denied from the last cohort due to my TEAS score. My stats are 3.73 GPA and 94 on the TEAS which I retook the other day. I also have 3 years of healthcare experience working mainly in behavioral health.
Hey guys!! I had my interview this morning as well!! I was also interviewed by the Dean, & I honestly feel really great about it! I made sure to prepare beforehand, so I also felt very confident when answering her questions. It really did feel like having a normal conversation. My interview was about 20 minutes long. A couple of the girls who had interviews before me, their interviews were about 10 minutes long, but with a different interviewer, so I think it varies!! You got this guys!! Do you guys know if there is a specific room number we go to for interviews?
It's going to be room 125 which is the first to your right when you enter the building. You'll be in a classroom that is a waiting room before your name is called.

Who was your interviewer? I'm sure you did fine! I'm surprised I was only asked 3 questions. I definitely over prepared for this one since the questions were pretty straightforward.
Cohort 47 alumnus here. I wish you all best of luck 🙂 I'm an ICU nurse applying to CRNA school and I feel the pressure you're all feeling all over again. Just be confident but show them you're ready to learn and admit to mistakes. You'll all be great nurses someday
My interview went horrible. The girl was so kind, but I was nervous and I just did not perform well after working the last few days. Thought I was prepared but clearly I was not. Next time I guess 🤷🏻♀️

I was asked 5 questions 1 is like a follow up question but I can't remember it's about my previous job since I don't have any experience in healthcare. I'm still keeping positive. I forgot her name, she's an African American professor. Very well spoken, I asked her a couple of questions, my interview was less than 15 mins around 12 mins.
