Mine reads test complete. It said submitted until a few weeks ago though.

Are you referring to the area on the TEAS Individual Performance Profile page that reads Mean-National and Mean-Program? If so, I don't think that actually means National University. I thought it did at first, but when I read further, it described it differently. My friend and I compared our scores (she's at another university) and the percentages were the same. :confused:

I found this on the 'Score Explanation and Interpretation' page of our TEAS results: :idea:

Mean - National: The national mean is the average of the individual scores of all test takers of your program type (within a specified sample from the ATI data pool) for this assessment. The national mean includes all program types.

Mean - Program: The program mean is the average of the individual scores of all test takers of your program type (within a specified sample from the ATI data pool) for this assessment.

Percentile Rank - National: The national percentile rank refers to the proportion of test takers from all types of nursing programs (within a specified sample from the ATI data pool) whose scores are the same as or lower than your individual score.

Percentile Rank - Program: The program percentile rank refers to the proportion of test takers from your specific type of nursing program (within a specified sample from the ATI data pool) whose scores were the same as or lower than your individual score.

So, I don't think we actually know what NU's average is unless we ask--I wonder if they'll give us an answer? I think the whole 'National University' name confused me while interpreting results. I don't know if I'm even making sense, but I hope I am :uhoh3:

We've all had those days. Lately, I've been in and out of that mood daily. Just remind yourself of the positive things in your life and that you're NOT going to feel like that forever! Hope you feel better soon. :)

Haha! Well, let's hope that we hear SOMETHING today. FINALLY!!!! :)

My ex was in the military as well and was gone ALL the time. Now, I'm dating a Dr. that I NEVER see. I think that I, personally, am just an independent person. I enjoy my space. I also think that because I get that space, I appreciate my time with my significant other more and am capable of focusing solely on them. I can't really explain it, but I am just not a girl that wants to be with her guy all the time! My kids drive me nuts and I wish that I had more help with them but if my ex would step up and be a father, it'd be perfect!

I think that you just have to figure out what's best for YOU. If you stay here and he's going to be gone the majority of the time, it may be good you because it's familiar and we all know nursing school is going to be time consuming!!!! You probably wouldn't even have time to focus on missing him!!! Like I said though, depends on YOU! I NEVER wanted to stay back where my family was. I up and moved out to California while my ex was deployed and enjoyed being away from everything I knew. You may enjoy that, too!

Kimmy, CONGRATS! I've been checking my email ALL day, and I was getting worried because I hadn't heard from NU. So when I saw you post that acceptance letters are out, I checked the portal RIGHT away. And I saw I had a message about the nursing program. I've been accepted as well! :) Right after I checked my student portal, I got an email too! Again, congrats!!!

Omg I hope y'all don't ditch this thread...I'm stuck here solo until the end of October! I'm at 70 points prior to essay...I think you were all at 73 and 74, how about you, kamoranto? I'm happy for you guys--hooray!! You can finally breathe!

I think you're going to be fine! I honestly wasn't sure if I was going to get in because I only had 69.05 points exactly haha. I guess I must've done well on the essay?
