Has anyone else on here applied for the National University ABSN (San Diego) to start Jan 2012? Trying to locate fellow applicants....

Hi! I have been accepted to cohort 29 and I just found this forum. I'll find you on FB as well to join your group. Looking forward to meeting you in January!:)

The group is National University Cohort 29 San Diego

Yes, I was accepted to Cohort 29, Rancho Bernardo campus.

Hey guys,

I was getting started on finishing the orientation paperwork check-off sheet and had a few questions. Do you guys all have a CPR card and a Declaration of ? If so, how did you go about getting the two. Thank you!

You can get on the red cross website for CPR certification. They usually will do sessions on Saturdays and I think you have the option to do CPR and/or first aid training. As far as the , I'm not really sure who all you can go through but I know it's supposed to be pretty cheap :) At least SOMETHING is, right? lol

yeah, $6 is cheap! I can't remember but I think the Red Cross is at least $45

Aw, I started with my CPR certification before I read this. I used the American Heart Association website and it was $20 -_- But thank you guys for the help!!! :)

Hey guys. Hopefully everyone remembered to send a confirmation email to ----.

To confirm your attendance at orientation and that you will begin the nursing program in January 2012 you must send an email to ---[email protected]. One of the following steps must be completed no later than Friday, November 11, 2011:

Submit an email verifying you will be attending Orientation and will be ready to start classes in January 2012. This email is required in order to confirm your seat in this Orientation as well as your commitment to begin classes. If your name is not on the roster the day of Orientation you will not be admitted. Orientation is mandatory and you cannot begin the nursing program without attending Orientation.

If you would like to postpone your enrollment for a time period not exceeding 12 months you may do so by filling out the attached “schedule change request form.” It is included as a file along with all Orientation materials that accompany this email. Please submit this by the due date above if you wish to postpone your enrollment.

If you do not plan to attend National University’s Nursing Program please fill out the “schedule change request form” and indicate you no longer wish to begin this program. Your prompt response is appreciated so that we may have this position open for other applicants ready to begin the program. As a courtesy, please submit this form by the due date above if you wish to withdraw from the Nursing Program at National University.

This will probably be my last post here... I called ------ to get a complete BSN program cost sheet. I posted it in the docs on our Cohort 29's Facebook page.
