Hey Everyone!!!! i didnt see a thread for NCC spring 2015 nursing program, so i figured i start one. Anyone plan on applying for spring semester?

You could also share some insight if you're already in the program. Like how the application process was for you and your gpa as well as TEAS scores. im sure any info would be helpful.

Hello everyone,

I also plan on applying for the spring. I got a 61.3 on the teas which is kind of low. My perquisite class grades are.

Anatomy 1 B

Phycology A

English B

statistics C

From other blogs I've read each application pool is different every semester

I'm going to submit my application tomorrow.

Hey! im also going to apply tomorrow good luck!!!!

Good luck everyone! Hope we all make it:)

hey do we just have to apply to the nursing program at the life science building or also do a change of program? ( or is that done when accepted?) anyone know?

That's a good question! When you fill out the application at the nursing dept. The lady at the desk just has you fill out a form & hand in your paper work. She mentioned nothing about a change of program form. But it makes sense. Because you can't change your major to a program you haven't been accepted to yet.

Jacrod are you a ncc student?

Hey spott86 yes i am r u?

Yes I am. Would anyone know how the point system that the nursing program uses works?

nope i would like to know... The only thing i know is that they only consider ur gpa from the 4 prereq classes and ur TEAS test score.. and that u get extra point for living in nassau county and for being an ncc student. idk wat else though :(

From what I understand, when I had spoken to someone in admissions, those are the only points awarded. Like you said, 1 for nassau county resident, 1 for ncc student and then gpa for the 4 prereqs and the TEAS

Hi everyone,

Did any of you guys have to send your TEAS scores to NCC by the ATI website?

And also did NCC also request for your highschool transcript when you submitted your application?
