Any one applying for Nursing at NCC for Fall 2018?

Good luck to you too.

If you applied through admissions, you didn't get a response yet. So if you're one of those people just hang on tight. I applied through admissions and I had to call for a decision. And I haven't received an email.

i have 126 and i did not get in.

Oh no :( so sorry If you don't mind me asking did you apply for day or evening?

Do you have any info about those who applied through nursing department ?

For day

Yikes that means I didn't get in :( cause I applied for day too through nursing

The person you say is trolling is the one who created this thread if you cared to look back. Who are you to judge anyone on grammar; in fact who are you to judge anyone period? Just stick to trying to get into nursing school and please for the sake of your own sanity, become humble. Being nasty will not get you anywhere.

Good luck to all on this thread, i just read a lot of your posts reminiscing (spelling?) on what I used to do two years ago. I am a 204 student who is getting pinned as a nurse may 14th but who's counting. The excitement and anticipation is blissful to say the least. With that said i have worked my a*s off to be here. It is true what has been said about Nassau's etrictian rate for upper level nursing courses (105 and 203). Its about 45%. The tests are HARD......But with that said My grades were 101-A, 105-A, 203-B (this was by far the hardest course i have ever taken and i have a Bachelors from Fordham) , and 204 I'd say I'm on my to possibly that A. I have worked so hard. THE PROGRAM IS AMAZING. Shine bright from the very first day you walk in. The professors notice you if you do, find your "nurse voice" from the beginning. If you can take Dr. Murphy (i think B section) for 101. She will touch your life and you wont forget her. At every clinical experience bedside RN's as well as nurse managers willingly say "Nassau's nurses are ahead of the rest" and "somehow you guys come out of school knowing more than the rest of them. " well think about it you learn in two years what takes them 4 so it is literally DRILLED into your head and not to mention we are paying 6k for what others are paying 100k for that RN license. Yes it is true you will have to get that BSN to make yourself competitive after you graduate but everyone says thats the easy part. I am exploring my options now. Professors call this ADN boot camp which it it. With that said anyone can do it if they want it bad enough. I have 2 small children, a friend of mine has 4 kids all ages. Good luck to everyone. 2 years goes fast, the relationships you make there are amazing. Everyone is in the same boat and you "suffer" together but during the breaks you rejuvenate and go back for more. Anyone you know who knocks the program bite you toungue and smile, you will have the same RN license as they have and probably have no loans. Well i ranted enough, lots of luck going all of you way, and to those who didnt get in either, try again. I didnt get in until my second try either. Nothing good is ever easy, remember that. And congratulations to all of my fellow peer RNs who will be pinned may 2020!!!!
