Any one applying for Nursing at NCC for Fall 2018?

What classes do you have to transfer?

I had almost all pre reqs already done except for BIO Ethics. But I was taking CLEPS to see if I can get higher score for History and spanish pre reqs and human development

They will take ENG101 and spanish i believe but check with them it counts as an elective

Most schools that you transfer to will let you know what credits they are taking for that specific degree, after they do a transfer credit evaluation... I emailed admissions previously and they explained they do not show the credit transfer evaluations until after a decision is made... So I have no clue, if they will accept my Spanish, History, or Art etc.. all the other prereqs I've taken at Nassau years ago.

Is less ? Meaning the classes that are transferred aren't counted till later ? This is so

Did you try to process a "what if" analysis on degreeworks? I went to the registrar in February and asked them to do an evaluation for the nursing program...it took them a couple of weeks but it's done and it shows all the courses I have taken at Nassau, along with transfer credits and clep exams that count towards the program. It doesn't show the grades for the transfer courses or clep exams but at least I know that they are applying them towards my points.

I did it shows the classes too but says I need a math and history class , and ofcourse the 4 nursing classes

I don't have a degreeworks account for Nassau yet. Smh... The only school that comes up for me still is SUNY Old Westbury. I have not been a student at Nassau since 2013, so it's like I am a whole new student.

Oh no .. so that means you went through the admissions office ? You should be good though , your scores are good ! Hopefully there's some indication soon

Just call them, you need to do that ASAP because you don't want them to make a decision without you having the chance to fix things. They are presently making decisions this week and next Friday emails will be going out. Some students can get an over phone informal decision now.
