Anyone ever hear about contracts at Vanderbilt University in Nashville? I want to get back to working with VADs.

Vandy does use Contract Nurses. You might call them directly and see what companies they use. Good Luck!

I've seen positions at Vandy for ICU float pool. I use to work there as staff. St. Thomas which is the big heart center in Nashville has openings... maybe you'd get more VAD experience there, not sure.

Cross country travel now is setting up exclusive contracts with a VAnderbilt. I actually interviewed with them but turned it down to go somewhere else.
Good information.
I'd point out that while CC will become the vendor manager, and will probably give preference to their own in-house travelers (unless the contract specifies vendor neutrality), many other agencies will have access through CC. As I often advise, it is better not to go through the vendor manager's agency unless you really want an edge into a specific hospital for a particular reason, as is the case with the thread starter. Otherwise, put a hospital on your bucket list as you will probably get paid more at another agency at some point later in your travels, and maintain your ability to switch agencies at that hospital. Kind of counter-intuitive I know, but that's the way it usually works.
