i am curious to know is N.V.C.accepting DS230 form.recently my i140 has approved and I am thinking to fill-up DS230 form.

If they did not send one to your attorney with a bar code on it, then they will not accept it from you now. We are still under the retrogression, and if you just got approval on the I-140 recently, you are under the retrogression and they are not sending anything else out until things are more current.

Your attorney may send you one to fill out so that they have complete information to be submitted when they do accept them. But without a bar code on it, not one thing will be done to it and it will not be added to your file.

And just remembered where you were born; you are looking at about five years for a wait due to the number of applicants from your country as well as China. This is what they are working on now, and many of the IT people are also under the same EB-3 cateogory.

Also, just want to add that NVC will not even send your Atty. the Visa Fee Bill and that needs to be sent back and en-cashed first before they even give the go-signal for the DS-230 form to be given.

The Visa Fee Bill will only be sent if your PD is current per the Visa Bulletin or your PD falls before the cut-off date (whichever comes first).

This is where retrogression hurts the most. Everything above the I-140 is on-hold during retrogression.
