Hello. Can anyone please help me? I went to and LVN program in California, my school shut down right when I graduated but they never sent my paperwork to the board. The school gave me all the information that I supposedly need in order to apply to the board. The problem is that i do not know how to submit my papers. I went on BVNPT website but it only says that the school needs to submit the papers for me. Have anyone had this issue? or can anyone please guide me on how to submit my paperwork? I have already tried calling them but they never answer my call. Thank you in advance.

I would write a letter and send it to the Board, certified, return receipt requested, giving all pertinent information with a clear request on how to proceed. Should this elicit no response, gather your ammunition, get in the car and visit the Board in person. When you are standing in front of them at the service window, you are more likely to be given assistance. (I was helped with a problem when I went in person. All it takes is effort on your part.)

I second caliotter3 advice re sending certified mail request to BVNPT.
Additionally, I would send information via email. California is notoriously slow due to volume of requests received and limited funding for staffing. From our member posts re slowness of BON, expect to take several months for issue to be addressed and resolved.

If you do not hear back within 2 months, I would contact your legislator as they help with situations involving state agencies.
