OK So I was attending school , working my butt off so that I could get into the nursing program. I have been wanting to be a nurse for 6 years when I started going through Massage School. I was recently informed that my communigty college district would not allow me into the nursing program if ou have a communicable disease. What do I do? Is there a way around it? or anyone know of another school near Los Angeles?

your question is too vague for a real answer.....need to check with the source (the CC) to see what is meant by that if indeed that requirement exists.....

What kind of communicable disease? Hep C, HIV, TB?
Definitely check with your college to get the specifics. Perhaps the BON for your state has restrictions on carriers of certain communicable diseases.
