Hi Everyone,
Well, I must say that I am extremely pleased with my results. I didn't sleep very good last night and had little to eat and was a bit nervous and anxious but I put my faith in God and remembered what you all wrote to me as I was sitting there. The nurses were really nice and the doctor was good too.
I am not allergic to PCN or Clindamycin but I am allergic to Erythromycin. I was so happy. I had a huge smile. The testing wasn't a big thing at all but after my experiences in the past I get nervous just walking into a hospital/doctor's office. I am so happy about PCN b/c now I can take Amoxicillin which is the least likely for side effects and is okay for baby. It was as if God answered my prayers. I acutally am so glad to be allergic to Erythromycin b/c that drugs along with the quinolones cause me mental side effects. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers.
They first did a scratch test and everything was negative and then they gave me the injections and almost immediately the Eryth. came up positive. I saw a 4 on his chart. I don't know what that means. the other two were 0. Now, onto the next issue. LOL. I just wanted to let you all know.
Hugs,
Jenn

Hello, Jen,
I just now saw your post. WHOOPIE!!!! So glad all turned out o.k. But, we knew that didn't we?
I know this may be off topic and I hope you and the others do not mind, but, my little grandson learned something about prayer........His mom found a dead frog they had had since living in Ohio. She put it aside.......found another one dead the next day and was in a rush to go to town with my grandson. So, she just left it in the glass box.
While gone, she told Luke that the frog was dead. He said, "Mommy, can I pray that Jesus brings that frog back to life?" She did not know how to answer so said, "Well, Luke, Jesus can do anything, but,............well........He can do anything."
They came home and ......yep, you guessed it.....the frog was NOT dead. She KNEW that frog was dead......but,.......
My grandson said, "See mommy......Jesus brought that frog back to life. ..........That Jesus.......he's a tricky one!!"
So see, Jen, just when we think we know it all about our health issues and do not know where to turn,..........that Jesus,......he's a tricky one!!!!
Siri
Thank you everyone for the well wishes! I really appreciate it. I am doing good and have my OB appt. tomorrow. Last week I was about 30% effaced but no dialation. I hope that I am dialated tomorrow. Siri, I love that story. It makes me think that medicine doesn't know all the answers and the real miracle lies with God.
Thanks for that.
Love,
