I am officially finished with all my pre-reqs!! Now I just have to apply for Spring 08 and keep my fingers crossed. It feels really good to have all those classes out of the way. I am so excited about it and my coworkers just kinda give me the "uh ok whatever" look so I thought I would share my joy with some fellow wannabe nurses!:balloons:

YAY- I only have a few more myself, AMEN! So, it sounds like you have a little time to breathe.

Yah!! It does count for something!!!! People may say - oh well, how much longer do you have now!!!??? I hate that . They don't understand that you are half way there and it took alot to get this far. Congradulations!!!!

I remember being in Biology, and walking past the A&P 1 lab. I would look in at the students and think "I will never be there". All the students in bio would talk about how impossible A&P was. There were all of these horror stories and rumors. Then I was in A&P and the same thing happen in regards to micro lol.

Now I am just taking a few extra co classes while I am waiting to apply in Aug.

We have come a long long way.

Congrats...great feeling, isn't it? I am done as well and I am also hoping to get in for Spring '08!

Best of luck!!! I hope you get in!

CONGRATULATIONS! I have three more classes left to finish my pre-req's. I'm starting a&p1 this fall 2007 in the NYC. I hear it's a ton of memorization. I have already stating my brain memorizing techniques. lol. God help me!:o

Congrats! :balloons: I am happy for you, but so jealous at the same time. It seems like it will take forever! I hope time flies by!

Speaking of memorizing things, any techniques that work best for you? I have a bunch of index cards to use, but anything else that will help boost my memory? I swear someone should do a study on the number of brain cells each child sucks out of you. I have 4 kids, so I figure I have about 10 brain cells left!!! :lol2:

A&P has been my favorite class so far!! It is a lot of memorization, and the first part (with all of the cells and stuff) was the worst part for me, but once I got into the bones/heart/muscles, etc... I enjoyed it much more!!! You'll love it if your going into Nursing because that's what you want to do...

Index cards always worked for me!!! Just have my husband quiz me over and over!!! And as far as it seeming like it will take forever, you'll be surprised just how quickly the time goes by!!!

Best of luck to you all!!!
