My NCLEX RN expereience June 29th

Published

I promised myself to come back and write about my NCLEX experience if I passed it from the first attempt and I did pass it with 75 questions.

I graduate from my ADN program on May 6th and since then I was practicing questions on my phone using this NCLEX Mastery app when I'm out or at work during my breaks.

While waiting for my ATT to show up I start doing Uworld questions bank. Approximately after 3 weeks I finished both Mastery app and Uworld questions banks, by that time I was still waiting for my ATT and was so tired of waiting and decided not to study any book at all and just redo Uworld till I get my ATT. On June 24th I got my ATT and scheduled my NCLEX just 5 days after that. All what I did for the NCLEX just what I listed above nothing more, I didn't touch any book or even any Kaplan products. I had a Kaplan book that I never even touch, I have also Sandurs book and still new and never touch it at all.

The actual NCLEX didn't look like anything I ever seen and the questions looked vague and the answers were all close, after only 7 questions I start getting SATA questions one after one and I got maybe 40 of these. I got some psych questions and the rest were collections of many different topics. I got maybe 10 medications and I knew all of them, they were popular and familiar, I got one drug calculations and that's it, no any other format or anything or hot spot.

English is my second language and if I did it you can do it too !!!!
