From a trusted source, this person actually told me that they look in the budget on the floor and told me that the bosses spend a lot of it on themselves. Is this illegal? Does this happen all the time. Are there dirty and greedy people healthcare???

No, I shared an experience on how I was treated, ONCE. Not all the time. Didn't you read? And no, I refuse to ever again be pushed around like that. When I say no, and they give me the boot, I will give them my blessing and move on with my life. And the budget part, It was a QUESTION. Honestly, I don't care, but It was just a thought that was in my head. Nothing more.

Would you take care of a whole floor by yourself? Please answer. I already have.

It was just a thought, a question. Heck, i don't care what goes on, but she just told me this while we were having a conversation. What's wrong with asking about it? There's nothing wrong with being curious you know...Seriously lol

You've posted a couple threads recently about how overworked you are, and how you have too much work to do to be able to provide the level of care you would like to be able to provide to the clients you're assigned. Why don't you focus on doing the work you're assigned and not spend time or energy worrying about the unit's budget?

Judging from this comment is one of the main reasons why I will not move further on nursing. You are a prime example of people saying, "Oh, just do the work and deal with it Do what you can." Well, I can't. I'm someone who wants to give the best care I can give, and I can't do it by myself. There's too many people now days that don't care about quality, but quantity. Numbers. No one cares anymore if a bath isn't done for days, no one cares anymore if diapers aren't being changed for the whole shift, no one cares if we fall behind on charting (which is VITAL), and I could go on, but you get the point. Healthcare, nursing, has lost it's meaning. It's not a value to most people anymore. I refuse to be a part of it if it happens again to me. So no, I don't give a rat's hoot about the budget, I was just curious.

And I'm sure people will respond negative towards me, go ahead. Post what you want. I don't care anymore. I said what I needed to say.

You seem to have an axe to grind against your employer; two negative threads by the same OP.

Employers do peruse these forums, and it wouldn't be that difficult to put two and two together.

This one wasn't "negative." I was just asking a question. People just don't understand lol.

I think it's valid to have a right to know who you are working for. If there is dishonesty at the top, it will be there in the 'bottom'. Impossibility of meeting standards.
