My long agony

How long does it take for me to receive the result by mail?? Ive been waiting for 3 days for my result.. my BON doesnt support the quick result in pearson vue..:uhoh3:

It depends on your state? It could be up to a week, it was for me in TN.

that was so me 2 days ago! i can honestly say i empathize with you totally!

its easy to understand why our patients get so frazzled when they have to wait for a lab or patho result and the wait feels so long.

You should try calling your BON I have heard people can get the result that way, and if they don't give it to you whats the worst they can say?? Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!

that's the way i figured it too i just called and whew the very nice lady said congratulations you are an rn...i thought she is skilled at this...she says her part and then holds the phone away from her ear lol knowing what's coming next...the whooping and hollering of course!

Since, my group had to wait between 8-16 weeks, a few days is not that bad a wait. And testing took two days.

I have a friend in VA (a state without quick results) and it took her 12 days to get her results back.

it took me 13 days for me to get my result. Most of it was because there was a problem with my transcript. Been through a ton of stress. To make a long story short, the way I found out my results were to physically drive to my state's BON. Even then I had to show a lot of hardship before they told me my results.

Good luck to you though! I also reccommend calling your BON. If anything, ask if your file is complete first. Can't wait to hear positive results!
