I called today to find out what is going on with my license. They received my application on June 30th. I went through an accelerated program in NC and we finished our course work in Feb and most of my class took our boards in April. So they said they need to research how I took my boards prior to graduation. Our diplomas are dated May 10th. I am wondering why is this suspicious. Can't this be solved by a quick call to the NCBON. What is the big deal when I already have a NC license. I needed to vent. I am ready for this to be solved.

Just wonder if you got your license yet. I am waiting for mine and its been 5 weeks. I was just wondering how long it has been taking.

All this waiting sucks! I applied at the end of April and I'm still waiting for my license...I have my RN license from MA and I thought it would be a sample transfer. Oh boy...what I ever wrong!?!?! It turns about I needed to go through CGFNS because I went to a Canadian nursing school. Not sure why that is necessary...I have a valid RN license from MA...also I attended grad school (MSN-FNP track) in the U.S. AND I took and passed my NP certification board exam. But I can't work in NY because I don't have my NY RN license. Errr...*Phew* I feel a little bit better after venting. Thanks for listening! Hang in there! We'll get our license one day!!!
I would call to make sure everything is in order. I kept calling and when I asked to speak to a supervisor it was resolved within 4 hours. My app was dated June 30 and I finally received it on Sept 7. Only because I called them. I think when they first look at the app if something is wrong they put it to the side and do not look at it again unless you are persistent.
Mine ended up coming after 6.5 weeks. Make sure your paperwork is perfect!
