My be kicked out for plagerism of outlining an article...help

:sniff:I am just finishing up my third semester OB/Peds. I had my clinical evaluation for OB today. My clinical evaluation was amazing, she said I have no problems on the floor. However I was told a decision is still being made whether or not I will be kicked out of the program for plagerism of an outline of an article, belive me this was not intentional. I do not have this person for lecture, just four days of a clinical in OB. I am NOT an English major. All it was was an OUTLINE of an article I read on pregnancy medications. I typed it up in regular outline format, but failed to change every word from the article. I picked out the main points and narrowed it down from there. I am a mess. I tried to handle myself as professionally as possible. It's been one hell of a week. My husband just left me on Monday after 12 years of marriage. I turned over the outline and told her in my own words what the article was about. She seemed ok with that, but no definitive decision has been made. I can barely breathe. Please help....

Also...I cant tell you how many students didnt even hand in their freakin articles. Is anything happening to them? Of course not. I would have been better off not doing one and especially handing it in early, maybe then she wouldnt have had time to pull up the original one from the internet. I took me two hours just to find an updated one btw.

I guess people don't realize this thread is from 2009 lol. But anyway that right there...yeah would take any sympathy I would have had. Who cares how long it took you to find an article?
