Working the other evening when my wife calls. Emergency at home, not 911, but a serious problem none the less. I explain basic situation to charge & she says "no promises, but I'll see what I can do". 10 minutes later, I'm told my co-workers have divided my pts among them. I give report and get out of there.
My co-workers rock!

You just maybe working in a place like mine, where we are all family and we take care of our own, despite management and administration. If so, print your post, hang it for them to see, buy pizza sometime and spend some out of work time with these folks, because they are special and can make you whole, in work and away. It's a beautiful thing to have, I'm lucky enough to have that too.
woot, for all those excellent nurses that take care of their own... this should be it's own thread... we need to hear more of the good we do for each other, thank you for reminding me of that:redbeathe
