Many of my peers are VERY intelligent, but there seems to be a handful of young ladies with pea brains. While the following story admitedly has nothing to do with their ability to be good nurses, it does scare me a little that they will soon handle life and death situations!
After our first test today, a collection of us are in the cafeteria having breakfast, and I overhear this conversation taking place next to me. Picture valley girl accents when you read this:
girl 1:"This election is going to be a big one, isn't it."
girl 2: "Yeah, but when is it anyway?"
girl 3: "I think it's in February..."
girl 1: "Nooo, that's when the president takes office!.."
Doesn't that just get better and better? :chuckle
I do want to say that they are all very nice people too but...well sometimes you just need to laugh!

I have heard a ton of comments that make you just scratch your head . One of my classmates asked if a feminist was the same thing as a homosexual male!
Truly, how do these people make it into nursing school?
