MUSC Spring 2020 ABSN

The application for MUSC's Spring 2020 ABSN program doesn't open until July 1st, but I am putting some feelers out there to see who is applying and hoping to start the thread for this semesters admissions process.

Online it says the average cumulative GPA for accepted students is a 3.4 but I was told it’s a 3.5. I have a 3.4 cumulative and 3.6 pre requisite. I also heard it’s more competitive for out of state applicants

I think they sent emails out today for all the priority applicants. I got my email around 3:30 pm today. My friend didn't hear anything so she called and they said anyone who didn't hear most likely got rolled to regular admissions!

So they have released all the emails for priority? I was hoping they would maybe have some tomorrow since it was so late in the business day ? do you know when regular admissions will be made? I heard the end of October but I also heard they kind of roll them out

Ugh I would love if they rolled them out. That would be amazing! Has anyone called and asked!?!

I had a 4.0 cumulative and a 4.0 for all my prerequisites. I also had a lot of clinical experience and I was an out of state applicant but I go to CofC! Wishing you good luck!!

Awesome! I’m praying they start rolling regular admission notices soon

Spoke to a representative and they said that they have only chosen a few priority applicants. Everyone else will receive their admissions decisions in October. She said the committee will be meeting like mid October and they’d release decisions mid to late October (I’m assuming probably around the 15th or later). Don’t give up hope! There’s still plentyyy of spots left! I believe the average class is 100+

I did the regular application the last minute and I just received my acceptance letter. Make sure to check your emails .
