The application for MUSC's Spring 2020 ABSN program doesn't open until July 1st, but I am putting some feelers out there to see who is applying and hoping to start the thread for this semesters admissions process.
Let me know! Happy applying ya'll!

I was looking at this program as well, but I don't know much about it or the yearly stats. I'll follow this post.
Good luck to you ?

Is this your first time applying? :)
Yes ma’am my first time! I’m nervous, but I’m going to apply still. Is this your first time as well?

Yes! It will be my first time. Is this your first time applying to any nursing program? I’m super nervous!
Would you mind if I asked what your stats are/background? ?

Does anyone know the minimum undergrad gpa that MUSC has accepted for the ABSN program? GPA is a huge factor for MUSC.

I was told the following by the program director:
”We review GPA as the greatest aspect in the application process. Cumulative GPA is 30%, Prerequisite GPA is 25% and Science GPA is 20%. We also review Health Care Related Work Experience (5%), Volunteer Experience (3%), and a 100 word essay which is 15%. If you have military experience you receive an additional 2%. We also require 3 references. Average GPA’s for accepted students are 3.6 for Cumulative, 3.6 for prerequisite and 3.7 for science. These average numbers are higher for out of state students.”
My guess, I’m sure they have accepted students with the minimum only GPA which is 3.0, but it would depend on other factors.
Thanks for sharing! Apply no matter what! As long as you meet the minimum requirements, the worst they can say is try again ?

Thank your for the detailed and helpful info. My prerequisite/science gpa is high. My undergrad gpa is on the edge. I’ll apply and hope for an acceptance!

Not a problem! I wouldn’t count yourself out. My situation is the opposite. My science GPA isn’t the highest because I was working 60 hours a week and trying to go to school.
Are you applying anywhere else?
From what I was told really shine in your LORs and essay where you lack in grades!
