The application for MUSC's Spring 2020 ABSN program doesn't open until July 1st, but I am putting some feelers out there to see who is applying and hoping to start the thread for this semesters admissions process.
Let me know! Happy applying ya'll!

Thank you so much for the update! Are those the numbers for this years application cycle! I'm so eager to hear back!!
No problem! Those were the numbers for this application cycle as of yesterday! There are now 85 in-state applicants and 92 out-of-state applicants. Spring of 2018 had 118 in-state applicants and 70 out-of-state applicants. Regular decision candidates will be notified of their decision on October 22.
Awesome!
I got an email from nursing cas today that they hadn’t received one of my transcripts. It was a community college that I received credits from in highschool (super long ago!) I submitted the transcript today but before this my application was complete. Is this going to hinder them looking at my application? I didn’t even think to send those transcripts because I didn’t technically go to the school. The courses from there are two random classes I took in high school they aren’t pre- reqs or anything!
Thanks !

Thanks so much for letting me know! I wish we could check the numbers it's great getting an idea about how many applied. I was surprised how many other out- of- state people have applied. I was hoping we were going to hear back today about priority admission but if they havent even started accepting or denying people I am sure it will be another few weeks. Are you also applying to the program? I'm curious to hear what you think about the University since you already work there

I also had an issue with some of my transcripts from nursing CAS but fortunately I had mine started on the first of July so I was able to get it fixed before the August 15th deadline for priority, but while I was waiting I emailed one of the ladies and they told me as long as they were received and verified before the deadline they would consider the application as complete. SO I think you would still be fine for regular admission because that deadline is not until the 15th. I would maybe call and ask if they would need you to send a transcript directly to them so they have all the info because nursing cas takes a while to sort everything out. I'm sure everything will be fine though they are very sweet and understanding there and especially if they weren't pre-requisites they might not even care!
Yes, I'm applying too! I love working here. Enrollment Management updates the number of applications every Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday morning, so I'll look up the final count for Spring 2020 next Wednesday. As of this morning, 87 in-state and 95 out-of-state. I think priority applicants should be hearing pretty soon, but I'm not positive! Good luck guys ?
That great!! I'm glad you love working there I go to CofC so I volunteer there frequently but I dont know anyone in the program or who works there. When you see the numbers are you able to see if they accepted or denied antone yet? Good luck to everyone and keep us updated if you can I really appreciate it!
Hi everyone! I am applying for spring admission and am super nervous! I am currently a junior with about 80 credit hours and all of my pre recs complete. I did fail one of the pre recs before but retook it and got a B+ but that has me pretty anxious. I technically have a 3.4 but that is with the F, my science is a 3.3 and pre rec without the F is a 3.6. Im also worried because nursing cas lowered my GPA for some reason. (in state). Anyone have feedback on these stats?!

Hi there!
I was in the same situation, but I called and spoke with someone and they still do a manual audit of transcripts and grades. Just make sure you’re shining bright in the other areas of the application.

Are you applying for spring as well or have already been accepted? I had an audit done before I retook the statistics class I failed and at that time my cumulative was a 3.396 but has now gone up since I retook it and got a B+. At the time I submitted my application I had 65 hours volunteering in a free clinic.
