MUSC Spring 2020 ABSN

The application for MUSC's Spring 2020 ABSN program doesn't open until July 1st, but I am putting some feelers out there to see who is applying and hoping to start the thread for this semesters admissions process.

No I haven’t. They’re not really answering their phones. Last I heard they said we’d hear our positive outcomes in a few weeks ??

@abs97 do you have any updates possibly?

All 170 regular decision applications are still in progress as of this morning! The only acceptances thus far are the 30 priority applicants that heard back September 24. I believe the admissions committee is meeting October 21, so decisions will go out that week!

Thank you for the update!!! It seems like a lot of the priority apps don’t want their spots which is completely fine with me ?

I can’t wait for us to meet each other in the January ?

No problem!! ? I think the priority decisions were binding so those 30 spots are filled. Fingers crossed we'll all be meeting in January!

I called them today and they said the committee meets on the 24th, so we'll hear back on the 25th or the 28th.

I have not received an acceptance email but just received an email from financial aid about applying for loans from MUSC. Did anyone else receive this and or do you know if it is only being sent to accepted students?!

I just got that too but no acceptance yet!

I went through the thread from last year lol! And almost everyone received a financial aid email early too but one person who received it never ended up being accepted so I guess it doesn’t indicate anything! Ugh!
