Hi everyone!!!

I wanted to go ahead and make a thread for MUSC's Spring 2015 hopefuls. I know it is a little bit early to start this thread, but I am just so excited. I am looking forward to everyone stats and encouragement for each other. Looking forward to the results!!!

Also, if anyone needs help with finding a place to live I can help. Feel free to reach out.

Hi everyone! My name is Andrew and I've recently moved here to charleston, from Philadelphia two months ago. I live on the corner of ashley and south battery and looking for some friends who share common interests.

I applied to the bsn program (spring 2015), and wanted to post my stats for comparison.

4.0 science. 3.7 cumGPA. 3.9 prereq

Ive also have been following this thread for a couple of months :)

Hopefully I'll get my letter today since I live 5 blocks from MUSC!

5 blocks!? That's awesome. How much is your rent? or do you rent? Are there apartments near there? I am going to be looking. I live in Georgetown and have been considering commuting if the schedule permits, but I don't want to burden myself with too much driving. Depending on traffic, that could be 3 hours a day on driving.

I just wanted to say that everyone on this thread should get a spot by pure passion alone. Too bad that the people in charge of deciding do not see this. So no matter what happens, don't give up on your dream. If you believe in yourself, you will succeed. I just felt like saying that and hope that it doesn't sound too corny. Hey. I got super lucky on my rent. I live with 3 other guys in a 4 bedroom house. It's $375 plus Internet. Gas. Electric. And h20. Runs me about $500 a month total.

You our can find deals, just needs to be the perfect moment. Try Craigslist. That's how I found my place.

Theres a form on the MUSC website for students in search of roommates and students in search of housing. It's kind of like a questionnaire. In case you need another option :)

Popping in with an update from Goose Creek, SC just outside Charleston. Mail came and went, nothing from MUSC though. Tomorrow hopefully, someone closer may get theirs today though. :sorry:

I'm in Mullins, SC about 2 1/2 hours away and NO mail. :-( I'm going away for the weekend and won't be back until Sunday. I don't know if I can bare the news from my mom over the phone. I get weak everytime I think about it!!!!
