MUSC ABSN Fall of 2015

I know this is still a little early, but I wanted to go ahead and make the thread so all prospective students could prepare. My credentials aren't nearly as good as a lot of people who have applied, but I felt like it was worth a shot since MUSC is my last chance at a BSN before I just do the ADN and bridge to BSN later on.

I should have right at a 3.1 at the time of my application. Made a C in Anatomy, a B+ in Physiology, and a B- in Chemistry. Microbiology will be in progress next semester, and I made pretty much As in every other non-science pre-req. I'm hoping that my volunteer and work experience will buffer my low GPA and grades :)

I would assume they have since it's been over 6 weeks from the application deadline

Just called...they said it would be another 2-3 weeks before they sent out acceptance letters :/

What does not offered mean? Does that mean they haven't made a decision either way for those applications?

Looking at it, theres only an offered which has sub categories like deferring or declining to accept.. and a not offered which is why i think it means not accepting into the program.

So they have decided some of the people not getting into the program, just not about the people getting into the program? lol

has anybody called/spoke to anyone recently about a specific time frame that they'd mail decisions out?

I just called and they said the board met at the end of last week and letters should be in the mail next week!
