Hi everyone ,
I just got a job offer at Multicare Good Sam RN residency program and I'm feeling nervous and overwhelmed. Not too sure what to expect since I'm moving to Washington from Hawaii for this position. Some of my friends, who I graduated with last December, moved/moving to WA to pursue RN residencis at other hospitals. As of now, I'm the only person from my graduating class to pursue a career with Multicare.
Is there any one else joining the August cohort either from instate or out of state? Would be nice to see/talk to a familiar face.
Much mahalos!!!

I just replied to your other post before seeing this one - I had a feeling that you were going to be working for MultiCare. I am currently in a MultiCare residency (though not at Good Sam), and it's a great residency program. Their goal is to equip their residents with the information that they will need to begin their new jobs, and so far they've been doing exactly that.
Congratulations on your new job! Hope you find more people from your cohort on this site!

Which service/floor is your residency?
It's on a medical-surgical floor. What about you?

Congratulations, danicaone_101! I am in the same cohort with you in Good Samaritan Hospital too. I will be on progressive care unit. By the way, do you receive the formal offer letter for signature yet?
Hey GraceT2014, I'm super excited to meet you and everyone at orientation! I believe I did...are you referring to the offer letter emailed to us from HR?
Medical/palliative floor! I'm so excited to start!
I've heard from HR that they would send out an offer letter that need us to sign and scan and send back, but I haven't receive it yet. That was three weeks ago, I should send an email to them and ask about it again.
Hey Grace, I just got my letter a couple of days ago, so hopefully you will get yours soon.
Thank you WheatGerm. I got mine this week too.
