i was making $24 per hour as an lpn. so $24 x 160 hrs (4 weeks) = $3,840 per month (or every 4 weeks). but i get paid bi-weekly so $1,920 every 2 weeks.
that is not my take home though because i have a lot of deductions e.g. ss, federal tax, state tax, 401k, union dues, etc...

$2,600/month. like what i said i have a lot of deductions and even put more on extra 401k, pension, credit union savings, etc..these are all automatically deducted. and i always put 0 dependent so during income tax time, i get a lot back.
my first year as an lpn, i made $60,000 (with some ot).
I was a new grad in 09, starting salary in a LTC/Skilled 16 on days, 18 on nights... Hospital pay on telemetry nightshift is 14.82 and i'm with a nursing agency now and depending which assignment I take it ranges from 18-20 doctors offices hospitals, 20-22 private duty, 23-29 group homes and nursing homes. This is in the Knoxville, TN area.
Right out of school I started at 20.50/hr for the 1st 6 mos then got a raise to 21/hr. With overtime that 1st year I made about 52,000. Now im back in school working part-time for an agency so far its been 18.45-23/hr but it depends on the case. I was with one agency that gave me 35/hr for intermittent visits.
