MTSU Fall 2015 nursing applicants

U.S.A. Tennessee

Published

Hey everyone. I am being nosy and wondering about the applicants I am up against for MTSU's fall nursing program. I applied on Thursday. I am just so nervous and worried my stats aren't good enough. I really want to know other peoples stats. I have an 88 on the HESI and a 3.314 gpa (due to freshman foolishness). Hope to hear from someone! :)) Good luck everyone!

I noticed that page 7 was missing from the attachments in the acceptance email. Is this the case for all of you?

Hey, yeah, I didn't get page 7 either. But I got everything I needed to complete what's on the checklist...we probably still should ask just in case.

So everyone ready for the program

I heard MTSU is losing their accreditation! Has anyone else heard that? I was going to apply next year but I'll look at another school if that's the case.

Mtsu is a great school!! I am so excited to start the program:) i can't wait to learn many things and meet great people!! Besides, nursing programs like those at Belmont or Lipscomb are way too expansive.. If you have money for that, then there isnt't any issue. Personally, it is all where you feel more comfortable!! :)

By the way, I know Belmont and Lipscomb werent brought up. I was just giving examples. There are only a few universities that aren't overly expansive. UT Knox has a good rep. But the program is one of the hardest to get into. Other then that all other universities in TN are on the same level as MTSU.(in my opinion) but i really hope they aren't... I don't think they are....

Due to recent changes with the examination policy, MTSU is NOT losing their accreditation. We are ranked the 15th in the top 100 nursing schools east of the Mississippi. I'd reconsider looking at other schools if I were you.

I hope you're enjoying your first semester! It's hard, but I know you can do it! Always remember that this is all a LEARNING PROCESS!!! They're hard on you for a reason. But every faculty member wants to see you succeed.

I just finished all 5 semesters.

I. AM. SO. GLAD. IT. IS. OVER.

That was not fun. It was sad to see how many people dropped out from the initial 65. Only thirty-five people graduated, though there are many who still have a good chance of passing next semester. Thanks lumpyunicorn13 for studying with me throughout most of the semesters. Your input was invaluable and I'm certain I would not have done as well without your help.

Looking forward to finishing the NCLEX. We are at the final hurdle, folks!

Wow, I can't believe we were writing on here almost 3 years ago about getting in and here we are! Time flies when you're super stressed ;) Thanks Geek-Bait too for being an awesome study buddy and friend! What a crazy ride it's been.

Hahaha! We. Are. DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NCLEX here we come!
