help me with this math

I have a math competency on tuesday. The rules say to round all bolus doses to the nearest 500 units and all infusion rates to the nearest 10 units/hr for heparin drip calculations. I am really confused on what she means. She said she would not ask rounding like that but she did on the last test and google is not helping me. How do I round this way? Lets say I have a bolus of 5,345.45455, well directions say you cant exceed 5,000 so that is okay but what would i have rounded the rest to if it said not to exceed?

By the way, I know Belmont and Lipscomb werent brought up. I was just giving examples. There are only a few universities that aren't overly expansive. UT Knox has a good rep. But the program is one of the hardest to get into. Other then that all other universities in TN are on the same level as MTSU.(in my opinion) but i really hope they aren't... I don't think they are....

Mtsu is a great school!! I am so excited to start the program:) i can't wait to learn many things and meet great people!! Besides, nursing programs like those at Belmont or Lipscomb are way too expansive.. If you have money for that, then there isnt't any issue. Personally, it is all where you feel more comfortable!! :)

Hello, what blue/white forms are you talking about? I called Thursday to see if they have been setting up interviews. They have not started calling yet! I am just looking online at some of the questions that have been asked. I also am practicing with my boyfriend lol.

Yes that's all I put in!! Thank goodness! I was looking at the website again and it said new application details or something! I read it and it was talking about having immunizations and a "true blue slip" included in the envelope lol I FREAKED out

Yeh, I'm really anxious about the interview. I just feel like I may have left something out of the application. What all did we need? lol Yes I am done with all mine. After looking at the website I am worried I forgot something.

Hey everyone. I am being nosy and wondering about the applicants I am up against for MTSU's fall nursing program. I applied on Thursday. I am just so nervous and worried my stats aren't good enough. I really want to know other peoples stats. I have an 88 on the HESI and a 3.314 gpa (due to freshman foolishness). Hope to hear from someone! :)) Good luck everyone!
