MTSAC's lottery number (2010)

I just received my lottery number and I am number 926! I applied November 2009.

I just wanted to put the information on here so we can see how far we are along the list. I know that some people will pick other programs, change majors, etc and hoping my number will go down. But 929 is very high and seems that I wont get in for years.

Here are the numbers that I got some someone else.

I just spoke with the nursing dept. The lady said they just sent out the updated letters for those on the waiting list yesterday (March 10th). :w00t:

My new number is 105 from 215. I dropped 110 spots!! :D The nursing dept said they are sending letters for alternate students in a couple weeks! :yeah:

Hey you guys i just got my second letter. do you have an idea when i should expect to take the HESI? Is it difficult? Any suggestions on how to study?

No, the HESI is not difficult at all. The most difficult portion is the Anatomy/Physiology portion. If you get the HESI review booklet, it is almost identical to the test that you will be taking, except for the Chemistry, Science, and Physics portion. Mt Sac does not test on those sciences, so you don't need to go over them.

Hi everyone! This is my first post ever. I applied April 2010, in September my position was 596, and today I received my spring letter- I'm currently 470. Dropped 126 spots. I wonder how soon till I start. Anyone in the same boat as me?

I also applied the same time you did....I was 534 and now I'm 408. I'm guessing we'll start next Fall.

got mine today too! already turned in my acceptance form too. don't forget, they don't give you much time to turn it in.
