mtsac nursing 2010 fall

Hello everyone:

Has anybody received an acceptance letter for 2010 fall from mtsac nursing department? or knowing some information about this matter? I have been on the waiting list since 2008, and counting down days for the letter. appreciate for you reply.:)

wow wow double wow!!! i recieved my letter today and damn near put me in :crying2: tears ( ok... i did shed a few h :yeah:a :yeah:p :yeah:p :yeah:y ---t :yeah:e :yeah:a :yeah:r :yeah:s ). its been a l:uhoh3::uhoh3::uhoh3::uhoh3::uhoh3:ng time getting to this point. working 2 full time jobs taking care of my 4 children and taking 1 class a semester since 2003. the time is finally here. i am now breathing huge :D sigh relief. time to do my happy dance......

Congratulations pdperez! I am eager to find out my place in line. How long did you wait? I'm new to the lottery system. Do you know how long it usually takes for someone to get accepted? Could it be possible that a student is on the waitlist for more than three semesters because the counselor told me that the wait is at most three semesters.

From the time that I applied (Nov2008) to when we start in Fall-it will be 2 years. I waited 3 full semesters, since I guess I can't count the semester that was already in progress when I applied...it was a long time, but I worked hard to get here so I know it will pay off!

Kim05-be patient and just take any classes that you need to graduate or that will help you transfer (if that's your goal) so that once you get your letter-you are ready and nothing will get in your way! Good luck!

Congrats BillyM_XT!!! I know EXACTLY how you feel! And our work has paid off and we are FINALLY starting. You would think I won the CA Super Lotto the way this letter and affirmation of starting in fall makes me feel. haha....See you in Fall!!!

Just wanted to let the people starting Fall 2010 know that I spoke with the nursing department this morning and the orientation packets are going out today or tomorrow...so we should have them this weekend. EXCITING!!!

hi i need help guys for the orientation tom...

will we take a teas test during the orientation?

i took the hesi exam before and passed will i need to take the hesi again?

I called the nursing department when I received my letter and they said if we have already passed it, then we don't need to retake the hesi.

how about the TEAS? i never taken it. thanks you for the fast response

we don't need to take the TEAS for admission to the program, just the HESI. So as long as you passed the HESI in January, you will be fine.
