  1. They didn't tell me how many people got interview, but the interview process would last for 2 weeks since my interview on Jan 20. The decision will be made in the beginning of this month. Don't be too scared about panel interview. I guess you would know the result on spot, because you are going to be interviewed by people from different departments; or you would know the result much sooner, because the interview process is moving toward the end.
  2. I'm interested in any one but oncology. During my interview, i was asked why i want to work for pih? what are my goals? many other questions about personality, behavior and values. No situational questions at all. I was told only 15 positions available, but thousands people applied. I think as long as you well prepared, nothing to worry about the interview. Do you have specific questions want to ask? i am here to try to ease your anxiety.
  3. Both of us did not have panel interview. During my interview, the nursing recruiter asked me about which unit I prefer. I guess because I checked all units available on my application. But my friend checked only medi-surg, and she interviewed by the unit director, instead of HR.
  4. Hello Aliashley: I had an interview with HR, but my friend had one with the director of the unit she applied for. Both of us are still waiting responses from them. Don't be nervous, although I was nervous before my interview.
  5. Hello everyone, I applied for PIH's new grad program for March, 2014 and had an interview about 2 weeks ago. For those who had interview, has anyone received a call? Thank you in advance for any input.
  6. Hello gtsharon: Thank you for your post which was really helpful. It's good to know Mtsac would pick students based on GPA. my GPA is 4.0. I wish that would be a factor to help me get in sooner. :)
  7. Hello everyone: Has anybody received an acceptance letter for 2010 fall from mtsac nursing department? or knowing some information about this matter? I have been on the waiting list since 2008, and counting down days for the letter. appreciate for you reply.:)
  8. Hi everyone: I applied for the program in Oct. 2008, still waiting. i recently took the HESI, but i don't why they asked us to take the test, which usually need to do in orientation. also i heard about the nursing department reduced enrollment from 90 student to 60. does anybody know when did the change take place? thank you.
