MTSA 2020

Published

Hello all!

I am going to be applying for MTSA's doctorate program for nurse anesthesia. The application opens in January of 2019. Just wondering if anyone else out there is going to be applying? I just finished my first year of nursing in a Level 2 Trauma ICU! By the time I apply I will have about a year and a half of nursing experience. Hopefully this will be enough!

I just got called off the alternate list!! What is the name of the Facebook page again?

Congrats! It’s MTSA DNAP 2022

Did anyone not accepted call to receive the interview feedback? They suggested I move to a higher acuity ICU and go to day shift. A coworker in the same unit was accepted, so I’m just confused about their criteria.

This makes me happy! I know you wanted it bad!

I called and was told the same thing. Basically in a nutshell they liked me, said I did great, just that I need more experience at a higher trauma level hospital (I’m at a small town hospital but we deal with extremely ill patients). I’m planning on taking their Anatomy class or whatever it is in January and reapplying next year.

Thank you so much! I did, when I was called yesterday I kept having to check my email afterwards to make sure I wasn't dreaming! lol

They may be suggesting those things because it’ll make your application more competitive. Your coworker may have other stronger aspects to her application/interview that got her accepted. That’s just what I’m thinking.

Hi friends! My coworker got called off the alternate list today, so if you are an alternate. Don't lose hope yet!!
