It’s a long story but I was accepted last year then a minor “issue” prevented me from enrolling. MTSA was gracious enough to work with me and allow me to resolve the issue. I just had to wait another year. I’m not sure what’s going on with my facebook group. I’ll delete it as it’s obviously something on my end. Someone else needs to try and create a group.

I called and was told the same thing. Basically in a nutshell they liked me, said I did great, just that I need more experience at a higher trauma level hospital (I’m at a small town hospital but we deal with extremely ill patients). I’m planning on taking their Anatomy class or whatever it is in January and reapplying next year.

I wish we had a better idea of when we would be notified on Thursday. I mean, we were in the first group so does that mean we might be notified yay or nay first? Do they call in alphabetical order? What’s the method to all the madness? I would assume the emails could be sent all at once notifying us of not getting in. Whereas the phone calls have to literally be made on an individual basis. Oh well. Hurry up and wait.

I interviewed yesterday as well at 0800. I didn’t think it was too bad. Hindsight is always 20-20. It’s over now. Best of luck to you all. I’m already nervous thinking of waiting by the phone this upcoming Thursday. Fingers are crossed!
