Hi guys,
I just submitted my application to Mt. Sac just a few days ago. I know they are taking applications until Sept. 1, 2016. This application period is for a start date Spring 17'
I'll be posting any updates on here, hopefully others will also contribute to their experience or updates on their process.
I'm 99% sure everyone whether they're on the official list or the alternate list get the same email. So it's a possibility that some of us may be alternates. They'll let us know during our verification appointment.
Oh ok! I thought the same! So we'll see at the appointment then! So nervous.
Judging by this thread a 77 should get you in. Maybe they haven't sent out all the emails yet?
I agree! You should definitely call and ask if all the emails have been sent. Especially with 77 points. Make sure all your supporting documents in your application went through! My friend forgot to upload somethings and missed out on some points.

I remember they said in the pre nursing workshops that they will NOT let us know whether you are an alternate or an accept at the verification appointment. So you probably wont find out until they send out the official acceptance letters in November.
Thanks for the feedback guys! So it's turns out I only have 70 points. So super sad and disappointed. I did all my prerequisites at my sac so I definitely was hoping on getting in. I guess I probably never will since the competition is only going to get more intense. Congrats to all who are on their way, what a great feeling it must be! It's been a stressful long road, not sure on giving up:cry: Curious if anyone ever got in at mt sac with 70 points:(

Never say never!! Is there anything you can do to get more points? Get a CNA cert and get work experience? Or maybe do the 2 semesters of another language? Finish up your associates in a general study? Either way don't give up! There's plenty of other options! Good luck!!
