Hello everyone,
I decided to make this post to connect with others who will be applying to Mt. Sac's program for the Spring of 2019. After calculating my points for the multicriteria screening I'm currently at 52 points before the Hesi. I'm scheduled to take the Hesi on the 31st. Really hoping to end up with 77-80 points, I've read that the cutoff is usually around 77 points so I'm praying that will be the case this year as well. Although I saw a comment on the Fall 2018 thread & someone got in with 72 points as an alternate. I'll also be applying to Chaffey, San Bernardino Valley & Western Governors University.
Good luck everyone!
Hey guys,I'm applying for Fall 2019, and I wont get my AA degree until May.. so would I even get the points for it?
From my understanding, no you would not get points for your AA. It has to be completed in order to get points for it. If you apply for spring of 2020 than you would get the points. I would double check with nursing department though.
Congratulations to everyone who got selected!! I got selected as an alternate and just received the orientation packet in my email around 9 AM this morning. It also says in the end of the email to reply, confirming your attendance so be sure to reply just in case!! Good luck to everyone and my fellow alternates, I hope we all get in. :*)
