Mt. Sac nursing program spring 2018

Good evening everyone.

My name is Nicole. I made this forum to connect with potential Mt Sac nursing students who may be applying for Spring 2018 admission. I'm am applying and wanted to see everyone's status, and maybe gain some insight on what is to come. I have not taken my HESI yet; I am taking it August 17th. I am also working on finishing up a summer class to know where my gpa stands for points on the multi criteria. I am between 76 and 83 points depending on my HESI score, gpa, and work experience. Not sure what the cutt off will be for the Spring 2018 semester, but I'm hoping I will have enough points. Hope everyone is having an awesome night. Hope to hear from future students.

You nean all of the emails?! No kidding! My friend with 81 points and I with 90 points are still waiting. You scared me. I think I need to call them now.

Have you checked your spam mail just in case? I would check that and call because that seems weird that you or your friend haven't received an email yet.

im not sure if they send rejection emails out, all i know from what the lady over the phone told me was that they sent emails to the top applicants and alternates, she didn't mention any rejections? im not 100% sure though

Have you checked your spam mail just in case? I would check that and call because that seems weird that you or your friend haven't received an email yet.

Yrah I checked my mt sac email on phone and laptop. Nothing. I called and they said they've done with emails. I emailed them and if I don't get a reply, I will go and check in person. My friend neither.

Hi all, I called them and someone said that because I repeated twice of science courses I was not qualified. I am so upset because it is my fault for not reading policy beforehand.

The gentlemanon the phone didn't explain anything. He just asked me to email them and check tomorrow. I will check tomorrow.

does anyone know college that accept more than one science repeat thx

- try searching up the LA community colleges too! they have a ton of nursing schools over there

Have any of you applied to Rio Hondo ? I'm not sure what i'll do if I get into both... anyone know the pros and cons of both schools. All I know is both have high NCLEX pass rates.

Anyone is a student at Mt Sac? How did gou guys apply? I think there shouldn't be any problem with the application or my documents because they said jep was ok. I submitted pdf and I had tried all of them before I submitted. I really don't understand what the problem would it be. And my friend has the same problem! It is really weird.
