Good evening everyone.
My name is Nicole. I made this forum to connect with potential Mt Sac nursing students who may be applying for Fall 2019 admission. I'm am applying and wanted to see others status’s, and maybe gain some insight on what is to come. This is my second time applying to this program; unfortunately didn’t have enough points the last time. As of right now, I have 74 points as long as I’m calculating correctly. Having an associates degree gives me 8 points, science gpa gives me 30 points, overall course work gives me 4 points, work experience gives me 5 points, life experiences gives me 2 points, I got a 89.29% on my HESI which gives me 25 points; totals 74. I know 74 points is pretty low so I am not getting my hopes up. Will be applying again for Spring 2020 if I do not have enough points this time. At that point I will have 77 points, which is still not a for sure in, but I will continue to try to raise my points until it’s enough. I may also start looking into other programs to apply to. Anyway, I’d love to from other potential student. How many points are you applying with? Applying to other school? Any advice? Etc.

if you meet all the requirements, then would the school provide the test(NLN- PAX) for the qualified applicant?

The above link states that you are able to email the school to reserve a seat to take the HESI A2 Assessment test.
