Good evening everyone.
My name is Nicole. I made this forum to connect with potential Mt Sac nursing students who may be applying for Fall 2019 admission. I'm am applying and wanted to see others status’s, and maybe gain some insight on what is to come. This is my second time applying to this program; unfortunately didn’t have enough points the last time. As of right now, I have 74 points as long as I’m calculating correctly. Having an associates degree gives me 8 points, science gpa gives me 30 points, overall course work gives me 4 points, work experience gives me 5 points, life experiences gives me 2 points, I got a 89.29% on my HESI which gives me 25 points; totals 74. I know 74 points is pretty low so I am not getting my hopes up. Will be applying again for Spring 2020 if I do not have enough points this time. At that point I will have 77 points, which is still not a for sure in, but I will continue to try to raise my points until it’s enough. I may also start looking into other programs to apply to. Anyway, I’d love to from other potential student. How many points are you applying with? Applying to other school? Any advice? Etc.
Hello. As far as i know, if your an alternate and the email states to come to the orientation then you should. The program does not tell you the amount of points you got in with but you usually will get an idea when asking around. By the end of the 3rd day some alternates may or may not get in. Some semesters will get more alternates than others into the program. Just wear comfortable clothes because you will be there for a long time, it is mentally draining and be on time, they will take roll. Good luck!!
Does anyone receive email about orientation? What should we bring? I replied to the email, but I did not received any emails regarding to the orientation information. Can someone take a picture and post on here for the orientation days and parking information? I really appreciate. I am on alternate list and will attend next week for orientation.

Thank you so much for your information. I will attend orientation days. However, I need information about that cause I did not receive anything about parking and which department should I come.
The packet was sent to the Mt. Sac email along with the map. The packet is just review on your basic math but you have to print and complete it before the orientation.
Here is the map from Mt. Sac
You would want to park is Lot F and walk across to 67A Room 206/216 at 7:50 am. No need to pay for parking.

Thanks so much for your information. I did not get any email regarding to that. I accepted my alternate spot in May. I think they missed my email. Even though, the nursing department emailed me that they received my response to them.
