Mt Sac nursing fall 2017

Hi guys,

I submitted my application to Mt. Sac nursing program for the fall 2017 application period.

I have yet to see a thread on this particular application period for Mt. SAC so I hope many more join this thread. I'll be posting any updates on here, hopefully others will also contribute to their experience or updates on their process.

Thank you for sharing! I have 3 children and childcare has always helped me. Does anyone know what ages do they accept child care in their location?

Yes I have! They have a really nice child care center.

Registration packets for fall won't be available until June 28th. Hopefully we will have a better idea what our schedule will look like by then. I believe up until 5. Not sure the youngest.

My counselor didn't tell me anything regarding positions or where I stand after I asked. bc he said that changes and he said 77 was the cut off and that's it. My points dropped to a 75.5 :/. From the sound of him it seemed like a "try another school"

Hi Liz may I know when did you submit your application? I'm applying with 77 points too but I applied around the 24th BC I was waiting for the winter grade to be posted.. im kind of worry right now!! My appointment is on the 21st.. Its so stressing to wait that long :unsure:

I can't believe they didn't tell you what spot you are in! Some of the alternates on the list have less points than 75.5, and the counselor said there are times when they have to go deep into the alternate list to fill the 60 spots. I would find out what spot you are in and don't give up.

Thanks I didn't know that , it was just the way he sounded was like you'll officially find out first week of may. Can't say where you are at. An I email someone and ask where I stand?

I would wait until til after the 27th, after all the counseling appointments are completed. I would email or call and ask what spot you are in.

I submitted the first week of January. I think maybe the 4th?
