K, folks, based on the rumor mill, they had to go over 120+ students to get the 60 they need for Spring 11. So originally I went from 910 back in Fall 2009, to 458 to the Spring in 2010, to 265 this past fall. My guess now is that I'm around the 130 to 140 on the waitlist if the 120+ rumor is correct. Word is they were suppose to mail the letters out this week. Let me know if anyone has any updates or better Intel.

youre SAFE. as long as u passed the test, soonner or later , they will call you. maybe this Fall or next Spring (before they change to new selection system).

I applied on April last years, and get invites to take HESI, but i forgot to show up. lol.

I'm pretty much in the same position of Pzhu3. I applied actually a year and half ago (this semester is my 3rd semester waiting) and I also got a letter early April and my "seat #" was around 105 or so but I have not gotten a letter since or call. Should I call the nursing department to inquire my actual status to see if I got in this fall? I took the HESI test last fall (2011) and passed it as well.

I have already called the nursing department, they told me that I should be around #24 position to be in the program next spring. According to your lottery number, you should be in the program next spring as well. The Nursing Department said the Points System will not affect the one who have already been in the waiting list.

Thanks a lot for the info Pzhu3. I'll call as well next week just to confirm. But if they're and you're right, next spring is looking good for us! Been waiting TOO long :)

Hey Pzhu3 my latest lottery number is 110. Do you know if thats after the drawing or before the fall 2012 drawing?? If so I don't think I'll make the cut. I heard they only choose 60

I am number 60 on the waitlist but I have to wait for them to offer the Nursing 70 role transition class. They only offer it in the Summer and this Summer it's not happening. Looks like I will be waiting a while.

I guess you should be in the program next spring. This fall they will accept 60 students, so next spring your lottery position will be 50 Why don't you call the nursing department to ask about your situation? You won't lose anything to call.

I applied in Spring of 2011, got my letter in fall at 858. This past spring 12, I jumped down to #266. Where is everyone at right now? I'm just wondering because I haven't seen anyone post anything since May. Just kind of nervous.

I just now spoke with a lady in charge of the numbering and so forth..It took me a while to get through to her but she did tell me that they are working out the numbers right now. I applied to the LVN to RN and she said I should hear something by mid October and if I don't hear anything to call. Sheesh! She was very friendly, though. I will keep checking it out. She also said they were processing the 20 students that may or may not be interested in enrollment this Winter.

I just got the "usual" lottery letter and my current seat position is 31. Anyone know if this means that the students for Spring 2013 semester have ALREADY been picked? Or does this letter mean that I MIGHT be in this Spring's semester nursing program (they are currently "lottering" students right now)?
