  1. i can't tell you about a self FBI check as i don't know what their time frame for update records are,or if they are even required to do so. and as you stated they are more complicated to do. but as long as your DOJ's are updated, at least the evaluator have something to reference to.
  2. give DOJ atleast 60 days before you do a live scan record review. although they are "require" to update within 30 days, i have heard of many cases where the petitioner finds out years later that it has not been updated. it will cost you $30-$50 for live scan record review. , but its a peace of mind that youll get and in my opinion, well worth of the money. and also you can be certain that nothing else is on your record that dont belong there.
  3. If you can, every time you get a case expunged, follow up with a live scan record review to be sure that your record has been updated with DOJ. although they are require to update your record within a frame of time after court approves your expungement. they don't always do so. it's always better to check. if it's not updated, a form that comes with your live scan record review is included, just fill that out along with the court expungement papers and they will update it for you.
  4. best way is to get a live scan record review and see what is on and what is not. you can go to doj website and download the form. its always good idea to get a copy of your criminal history. even if it has been dismissed, expunged. just to be sure that doj has update information since all subsequent livescans you provide will be base on doj record. that way youll know what the reviewing body is looking at.
  5. Hi, it is really up to your LVN program if theyll let you participate in clinical with your issues. but, i don't see a problem since you had completed a pre-trial diversion and charges were drop. it is always good to get a copy of your criminal history to see if the DOJ has the updated information since they don't always update it, have them do so if it is not. so that when it comes time to apply for nclex with the boards you'll be ready.
  6. i agree, bring your birth certificate with you to show them infact that josh is josua and hope that they will accept it. i have heard similar cases where a person was denied base on similar but not "exact" first name. good luck and hope you do well tommorow!
  7. do you have another form of ID that matches pearsons registration? (passport?)
  8. If you read the letter again, it should state something like.... "Disregard this letter if you have already submitted the needed info"
  9. i believe usually around spring they will accept applications. if the 5 classes are simple ones. i would get it done as soon as possible. but that is me.
  10. it dosn't hurt to call.
  11. you forgot to show up? lol
  12. you will be safe by the system change.they will make sure the current list gets in before implementing the points system.
  13. just recieved the dove uniform. i went a size down the recommended size. fits perfectly. so, i guess they do run big. but for the cardigan, think i'll get the recommended size, since it's should fit like a jacket.
  14. guys, the Dove uniform runs big. i bought a extra set and just recieved it. i'm glad i got one size smaller of the recommended size. ( read over this forum that it runs big). it fits perfect. but, for the cardigan maybe go the recommended size, since it's going to be a jacket.
